Size Guide
This page will help you choose the right size when sewing Made on Monday patterns. Our size charts are designed to be clear and easy to use, so you can feel confident before you start cutting.
Each sewing pattern includes a size chart based on body measurements. To find your size:
-
Take your body measurements using a tape measure
-
Compare them to the size chart for the pattern
-
Choose the size that best matches your measurements
If you fall between sizes, the pattern instructions will guide you on choosing the best option for your fit.
Did you know?
All Made on Monday sewing patterns are designed by Kimberley Hind and developed in collaboration with an expert pattern maker, with careful testing and grading to support a comfortable, wearable fit.

centimetres
Made on Monday patterns are designed using grouped sizes, which allows for a more flexible and comfortable fit. Many designs have a relaxed or oversized feel, making them easy to wear and forgiving to sew.
This approach is intentional. The patterns are designed to feel comfortable in everyday life, rather than fitted or restrictive. Always check the pattern description for specific fit notes and finished garment measurements too before choosing your size.

Body measurements vs finished garment measurements
Size charts are based on body measurements, not finished garment size.
Each pattern also includes finished garment measurements, which show the actual size of the sewn item and the amount of ease included in the design.
Ease varies depending on the style of the pattern and how it is intended to fit.
